Pinakothek der Moderne
1.3.2012 - 20.5.2012
Architect John Pawson commissioned photographer Jens Weber to create
extreme large format (3 m x 1,8 m) images of his pinnacle works. To obtain the necessary quality, a programmed pan and tilt rotary system was used to photograph the selected projects. Each picture is stitched from up to 92 individual shots, resulting in a crisp, grainless image - giving the effect of almost being there.
These large format pictures are on display as part of the «John Pawson» exhibition in the Architecture Museum in the Pinakothek der Moderne in Munich.
